Our publications in detail

Superior birthday and anniversary newspaper
A gift for individuals interested in their family history who are curious not only about the news of a specific day, but also the history of the era, and who would also like to learn the meaning and distribution of their family name through an assessment of medieval and later sources—which also provides an opportunity to discover their earliest probable ancestors. The compilation includes a front page on an antique-style sheet for each year since birth, between which articles or images tied to specific dates in the person's life story can be hidden. Since family history is largely intertwined with the history of individual settlements (such as Turkish devastations or resettlement), this also provides an interesting addition. Furthermore, the compilation ensures that a small collection of family photographs can also be accommodated in a collage format, making the newspaper truly useful to leaf through for a later generation or on the occasion of future celebrations.

Full birthday and anniversary newspaper
A gift for those interested in their family history, who can learn about the news of the day using several daily and weekly newspapers, printed in a 24-page format with an authentic antique effect. These sources cover the characteristics of culture, technology, and fashion of the time, and include a birth announcement, a photograph, and a historical description of the era. In addition to all this, a personal message can be placed on the family photo collage on the hard cardboard cover or alongside the selectable designs.

Unique birthday and anniversary newspaper
This publication allows the celebrant to explore a past era of personal significance through a 20-page selection of daily newspapers and magazines—highlighting not only politics, but also the worlds of music, fashion, and science. Family photographs can be placed both on the cardboard cover and in other sections, along with the birth announcement. The back cover typically features a summary of contemporary history, and individual requests can also be accommodated.

Simple birthday and anniversary newspaper
The compilation resembles a foldable daily newspaper printed on antique-looking paper. It contains daily and weekly newspapers published on the day of the celebrant's birth across 14 pages, complete with a birth announcement and photo. It stands well on its own, but also works as an accompaniment to another gift, such as a drink.
Our scientific services
Transcription of heard text - Many Hungarian families keep recordings at home in which their ancestors tell their own stories, but the quality of these may have deteriorated so much over the decades that their text transcription is extremely difficult. This service provides a solution to this: we reconstruct and transcribe what is heard with high accuracy, by ear - also deciphering it from the context. Putting it into writing is also significant because this way the information can reach a wider audience, becomes searchable, and when printed, is not subject to technological obsolescence. A visually impaired professional participates in the work, who, due to their traits, has a more refined hearing than average.
oral history interview — It allows our elderly relatives to pass on family stories so that descendants can also get to know them. Unfortunately, we often only realize afterward how great it would have been to accurately preserve this knowledge, but due to declining health or passing away, this is often no longer possible. This is where the service helps, within the framework of which we conduct interviews even with people living in nursing homes, and then transcribe them into paper-based documents—even in the form of a book. The interviews are conducted by a professional with a degree in history who evokes past events and life situations using a special collection of sources.
Surname etymology Our family names are like a small history book: they preserve our past. The past meaning, motivation, and spelling variants of names reveal the residence, occupation, social status, and other characteristics of our medieval ancestors—thereby also deepening our commitment to the family and our respect for our ancestors.
Paleography The change in handwriting over the centuries makes reading old documents almost impossible. It happens less frequently, but there are documents—either as copies obtained from archives or from private collections—that descendants can no longer interpret; professional transcription from the Latin language can also pose a problem, as the meanings of certain expressions are lost in the mists of time. We provide assistance in bringing these documents to life, transcribing, and translating them.
